melinda is like the caged bird because she choses not to speak. the caged bird whispers in the poem just like melinda her screams are only whispers never loud enough for anyone to hear and she longs for freedom but is afraid of speaking. she tries to speak like the bird but i think she is afraid to. she tries to but she is scarred from her past and she is hurt.

Forrest

My friend Forrest committed suicide last year. he was my friend when my house caught fire and I had to live somewhere I didn't like and he was always there as a friend. Forrest was a good friend for a lot of people. He was a good person and will always be remembered as a good friend.

i like to play guitar to express my feelings. like when im mad i play fast heavy riffs. when im sad i play my acoustic and strum chords. when im happy i play fast. i think that music is the best way to express your feelings because it can go with all emotions.
